Information about the MMET*04 SOCIAL PROGRAM is available...

DIRECTIONS: The MMET*04 venue is the Palace of students located in the Schevchenko Park.
To reach the place from the train or bus station one needs to catch any transport which goes along K.Marks av.. Possible choices are:
mini-bus #101 - Get off near the monument of Lomonosov, cross the K.Marks av. and walk about another 10-15 minutes along the Oktyabrskaya sq., Chirch, Diorama, etc.
tram #1 - from the train station to the tram stop "Park Schevchenko".
The palace (see Fig. 1) is well seen from the main entarance of the Park.

The 10-th International Conference on
Mathematical Methods in Electromagnetic Theory (MMET*04)
will be organized in Dniepropetrovsk, Ukraine
- September 14 - 17, 2004 -

in the Students' Palace of Culture which was built in 1790
as a residence of Russian Prince Potyomkin, Governor-General of the region.

MMET series of conferences was started in 1988. Since 1990, it has been the only regular forum in the Former Soviet Union (FSU) in electromagnetics that has English as a single working language. The conference has established itself as a true interface between the Western and FSU electromagnetics scientists and engineers. Its characteristic feature is a stronger emphasis on the analytical and mathematical aspects of research, together with detail physical analyses of the wave phenomena.
