Venue

National Aviation University (NAU), venue of MMET*2018 conference, is one of the world's most powerful aviation higher educational institutions with more than 50000 students including 1200 international students from 49 countries. Before the collapse of the USSR, NAU was the main source of engineers of all aviation profiles including the wide field of avionics for all the USSR and other countries.

The University consists of fifteen institutes, seven colleges, a technical school, two high schools, Center for Air and Space Law, European regional centers of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The University has the world's only educational hangar, training airfield, training radio ground with aviation ground equipment, aerodynamic and training complexes. NAU has a spacious campus with convenient connection with the central part of Kyiv. The University has all necessary conditions and experience to conduct successful conference event.

Kyiv, one of the greenest European capitals, combines rich medieval history, elegance of Modern architecture and heritage of Soviet era. Currently it is a vivid and vibrant city full of various entertainments for any taste. It is also the biggest city of the modern Ukraine and the most ancient centre of the East Slavic nationhood and culture. Kyiv is located at the banks of the Dnieper River and counts its history from 6th century. Now its population is about 3 million. The city has a lot of universities and large scientific community, the Presidium and many research institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine are situated here.
